LD Awareness Month 2025 – Be a Friend. Be a Partner. Be a Champion.

This October, stand with us to build inclusion and break stigma for people with learning disabilities and ADHD. Together, we can ensure every person has access to the right to learn — and the power to achieve.

About LD Awareness Month

Learning Disabilities Awareness Month is a time to break stigma, highlight strengths, and build inclusion for people with learning disabilities (LDs) and ADHD. At least 1 in 10 Canadians has a learning disability, and ADHD often co-occurs. These are brain-based differences — not a reflection of intelligence or effort — and with the right supports, individuals can thrive in school, work, and life.

Awareness alone is not enough — together we can ensure every person has the right to learn and the power to achieve.
