Happy Holidays from LDAA!

As we approach the end of 2024, we’d like to express our sincere thanks for your support and generosity of LDAA. This holiday season, we are reminded of the incredible impact our community can have when we come together with the vision of creating an Alberta where individuals with learning disabilities are understood, supported, and empowered, throughout their lives.

December Update at LDAA

As we move into the cold winter months and prepare for the holiday season, it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of it all. When we stop to be present, slow down, and look around, we start to see all the goodness that surrounds us.

What’s New @ LDAA

As we enjoy the beautiful warm weather and vibrant fall colours, we are now in the full swing of back to school and are excited to share new webinars, conferences, programs and more - all in support of LD Awareness month.

What is a Learning Disability?

The most frequent question we receive at LDAA is from parents asking, ‘How can I support my child with learning disabilities?’ To answer that question and more, we’ve created 5 sessions, led by experts, geared at parents and service providers (and anyone that works with children struggling) that breakdown all your questions, so you can feel supported, gain valuable resources, and increase your knowledge.

Welcome to Fall!

Fall brings with it new beginnings as school starts, and the feeling getting back to familiar schedules after an amazing summer! We are excited to kick off this fall with new updates and opportunities. In this edition of September Happenings at LDAA, we offer opportunities to both parents and educators, along with a very special congratulations.

Summer Happenings @ LDAA!

The sun is shining, and summer is finally here! LDAA is excited to share new programs happening this summer and fall. While we know that summer is just starting, be sure to check out our new parent sessions starting this fall!
