Treasurer

Ryan is a post-secondary instructor and Chair in the School of Applied Sciences and Technology at NAIT and holds an MBA in Community Economic Development. Ryan is a community coach and volunteers on Dyslexia Canada’s Parent Support Committee and for local non-profits providing business and marketing support.

Ryan is a parent of a child with dyslexia and advocates for early screening and continued support through evidence-based reading instruction in schools. Ryan believes in a collaborative, systematic, measurable approach to instructional interventions and Individual learning plans that accurately reflect the modes of education used in the classroom. Ryan champions reading as an essential human right and believes we can improve access to post-secondary opportunities for students with learning disabilities.
