Contest Rules
We have formal Contest Rules that contain a great deal of technical information and legal details. The Contest Rules will be hard to read for some students. But we need to create these rules to make sure we cover important legal stuff. You should review the rules with a parent or one of your teachers.
The Rules in Brief!
- You must be a student in Alberta in Junior or Senior High to enter the competition.
- You must get your parent (or legal guardian) to sign your entry form. If you are over 18 years old, you do not need to have your parent sign.
- When you enter the contest, you give the LDAA permission to use your video in many different ways. The video may be posted on the internet. When people see the video, the will know your name, grade and the school you attend. It you do not want to share that information, you may not wish to enter the contest.
- We must receive your signed entry form and your video before midnight on Thursday, February 2nd, 2012.
- You can only enter one video.
- You can partner with one other person.Videos from groups larger than two people will not be considered.
- Both members of a team must complete an Entry Form. This is important because we need parent or guardian signatures for all students entering the competition.
