Schwandt, Patricia
Patricia Schwandt, BSc, BEd, MA, has been a teacher in Grande Prairie for twenty years. She is a Classroom Support Teacher in Special Education, spent nine years in administration, has a teaching speciality in science and biology and taught Divisions I through IV. Patricia has a specific interest in ADHD and Gifted Education, especially in twice exceptional children, and is a member her district’s Gifted Education Steering Committee and the ATA Special Education Council. As the parent of a child with ADHD – Inattentive Type, she understands the need for support from the home, school and medical profession.
Patricia is a member of CADDRA – Canadian Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Resource Alliance.
