How You Can Help

There are many ways that you can help the Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta:

Membership has benefits!

Purchasing a membership with the provincial office or a chapter provides you with updates on programs, services, and other LD issues that might be important to you. It is also essential when we approach government and/or policy makers on pressing issues because a large membership tells them that LD matters to everyone.

Volunteer!

Contact a chapter for volunteer opportunities in your area. Volunteers are the backbone of non-profit organizations, and help to keep administrative costs down so that more funding can go straight to programs.

Become a Board member!

Do you have skills or talents that you can offer to the organization? Becoming a board member is a lot of work, but very rewarding. It allows you to have a say in how the organization is run and the types of programs and services that are provided to individuals with learning disabilities and ADHD.

Donate!

Donating money to the LDAA or one of the chapters helps our organizations to continue to offer valuable programs and services to the community and in the province. All donations are eligible for an official tax receipt.
